I was deeply honored by the overwhelming vote of support for our grassroots campaign to elect new leadership in the 46th legislative district. Our campaign won the 2008 General Election with over 71% of the vote!
My sincere thanks to everyone who helped with our 2008 campaign! Together, we posted yard signs, stuffed envelopes, made phone calls, waved campaign signs, and knocked on over 22,000 doors. Thank you!
Since I was elected, I have been working hard on issues in Olympia and reaching out to citizens in our North Seattle neighborhoods. Whether it is working to fully fund our public schools, protect our natural environment, improve our transportation system, or fund critical services, my job is to serve YOU!
I want to thank Senator Jacobsen for his years of service to our district. If there is one thing I learned from Ken, it’s how to run a strong, grass roots campaign to get elected, and then stay in touch with the community once you win. He has been a dedicated public servant and he will be greatly missed.
Please join our 2010 campaign for the State Senate! As your Senator, I will continue to engage and represent our community using the same positive and high-energy approach. I look forward to working with you to build a better future for the citizens of the great State of Washington. I ask for your vote!
Sincerely,
